Apprenticeship Training Schedules
The Minnesota Statewide Limited Energy JATC apprenticeship classes are affiliated with the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee.

Continuing Education
The following classes are not open to the public. Class participants must be an IBEW Union Member or employed by a contractor signatory to the Minnesota Limited Energy Agreement.
| Power Limited Technician License Prep Class |
This class is a total of 12 hours. Weekday hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on scheduled dates. Saturday classes are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participants will need a current NEC Code Book. They are available for purchase at the JATC. Please refer to our most current newsletter for other books needed. |

| Cost for this class $400.00 members only, plus $150.00 for books. |

| License Renewal Classes |
The following classes are available to signatory members of the Minnesota Limited Energy Agreement at an initial cost of:
$50 per 16-hour class,
$25 per 8-hour class,
$10 per 2-hour class.
Nonsignatory members and the general public, starting at:
$250 per 16-hour class,
$125 per 8-hour class, and
$60 per 2-hour class. |
| Class times are 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturdays. |
| Our JATC has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Electrical Licensing
for continuing education credit that qualifies for renewal of the Power Limited Technician License. |
All of these classes include the required NEC code.

Please note:
Technician and License Prep classes may only be
attended by IBEW members working for contractors
signatory to
the Minnesota Limited Energy Agreement. |
All classes are scheduled for our Fridley training facility unless otherwise noted.
100 percent attendance is required to qualify for continuing education credit for the Power Limited Technician License. Partial credit cannot be given.
Please bring your NEC Code Book to all classes.
